We are selling a wireless router fitted with a custom firmware able to wirelessly share a CDMA connection through USB EV-DO modems sold by CAT Telecom. The router is compatible with C-motech CCU-650 and CCU-680 modems, Novatel Wireless Ovation CM727 modem and Huawei EC226. There are the folloving advantages of this solution over a connection sharing from a regular PC:
The price of the solution and the basic installation is 6500 baht.
External antenna can be connected to CDMA modem to increase the signal stability and range. There are two kinds of antennas available: omni-directional which can be used on the desktop or the car roof, and directional which can be mounted on the house exterior pointing to the CDMA tower. Directional antennas give much better range but are more expensive and require installation. You can find some antennas in our Wireless product list.
Please note what IP addresses in CDMA are from the private subnet and it is not possible to run a server on a CDMA connection. Common P2P clients will not have a fully "open" connection.
